Sweet Sorbet, Cupcakes and Circle Thinlit Card Dies

The Thinlit Card Dies are a great way to make some impressive cards easily.  Here are two cards that I made for some birthdays recently.  I included a extended flap so there is more room to write a message.  They both feature the Sweet Sorbet DSP which is one of the free products available with Sale-a-bration.

Here is the inside of the card.  I had a slight smudge on the left front of the card, and needed to cover it up somehow, so that is how I came up with the idea of putting the hearts on the front.  The hearts are also one of the dies from the Circle Thinlit Card Die set.  So not only do you get the card die, you also get other 9 dies that can be used on cards or other creations.

Here is the second card I made with this same die. This card features another free Sale-a-bration product, the Petals Parade stamp set.

The heart stamped on the inside circle is from the Peachy Keen stamp set.

Supplies:
Stamp sets: Create a Cupcake, Petal Parade (SAB), Label Love, Peachy Keen
Cardstock: Crisp Cantaloupe, Coastal Cabana, Whisper White
Ink: Crisp Cantaloupe, Coastal Cabana
DSP: Sweet Sorbet (SAB)
Other: Big Shot, Thinlit Card Dies (Circle), Artisan Punch, Cupcake Punch, Boho Blossom Punch, Sponges, Tombow, Dimensionals, Rhinestones

There are only 18 days left of Sale-a-bration and with every $110 purchase you can choose a free product, so remember to get your order in by the end of this month.  You can order online or email me with your order.  I will be putting in a group order on Tuesday 24th March.

If you are new to stamping and wondering where to start, there are some great bundle selections on the first few pages of the Sale-a-bration brochure.  Also Stampin' Up! have  recently released the new Hip Hip Hooray Card Kit which is another great place to start.  Feel free to contact me if you have any questions

Enjoy the rest of your week.

Stamp Sets: Label Love, Petite Petals
DSP: Sweet Sorbet
Ink: Coastal Cabana

Would you like to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator?

Would you too like to become a Stampin' Up! demonstrator?

I have been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator since August 2012 and I really enjoy what I do.  I initially joined up to be able to benefit from the 20% discount off the products that I buy and to be able to use what earn to help pay for my own craft supplies.  Although I love being a stay at home mum and I am grateful that I can be, I also wanted to have some time to do something a little different from that.  I really enjoy the the chance to be able to teach some classes and share my passion of card making.

Stampin' Up! have a great range of good quality products that I love to use and that is why I enjoy being able to share these products with others.   I have also enjoyed meeting lots of wonderful people through my classes.

You too can join up.  You may want to join up for own reasons such as the benefits of building up your own crafting supplies, or as a business opportunity.  You can teach classes if you like, but you don't have to if you don't want to.  If you decide to join up, I will be there to support and guide you.  I would love you to join my team.

Now is a great time to join up.  If you join up during Sale-a-bration you you receive $305 worth of products for $189.

Here is some more information about joining up.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me by email, or let me know if you would like me to give you a call.  Feel free to ask me any questions about joining up with no obligation if you decide it is not for you.

I hope you have a great week.

On Film Framelits Dies with Simple Stems in Crisp Cantaloupe

Here is a similar style card to yesterday, but using some different colours.  Yesterday's card featured Summer Starfruit.  This ones still uses the Sweet Sorbet DSP paper available through Sale-a-bration, but features Crisp Cantaloupe.

I also made an envelope that coordinates with the card.

Here is a coordinating gift that I made to go with the card.  It is a covered shopping notepad.  It has a magnet on the back so it can be placed on the fridge.  I made a box using the Envelope Punch Board to put the gift in.

Here is the set - card and gift.

On Film Framelit Dies with Sale-a-bration Sweet Sorbet DSP

I had lots of fun using the On Film Framelits Dies with the Peachy Keen and Simple Stem stamp sets.  This card was inspired by something my upline, Julia Leece had made.

Here is the card with its coordinating envelope.

Here is a close up of the front of the card. I was initially going to put the greeting banner on the right side of the card, but I noticed an unfortunate ink smudge on the bottom of the left front of the card, so I had to cover it up somehow.  Putting the greeting banner on the left thankfully hid the smudge.

Here is the inside of the card.

Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Peachy Keen, Simple Stems, Express Yourself (Hostess set)
Ink: Summer Starfruit, Gumball Green, Basic Black (marker)
Card: Basic Black, Whisper White
DSP: Sweet Sorbet (Sale-a-bration 2014)
Other: Big Shot, On Film Framelits Dies, Stampin Trimmer, Two Way Glue Pen, Tombow, Whisper White C6 Envelopes

Remember you can get this DSP pack for free with any purchase over $110 until 31st March as part of Sale-a-bration.  More details here.  Or feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.

Tag a Bag Gift Boxes Perfect for a Gift

Last week for Valentines Day I made my husband some heart shaped Milo chocolate chip cookies.  I wanted a quick and easy way to wrap them up and present them nicely as a gift.  The Tag a Bag Gift Boxes were perfect for this. This is what I did.

Here is the box and a sample of some of the cookies inside.

The Tag a Bag Gift Boxes are cut, scored and ready to quickly assemble and they come with an acetate sleeve.  I decided to emboss the acetate sleeve to give some texture to it and I finished it off with wide striped grosgrain ribbon.

Here you can see the texture embossed acetate.

There is also a Tag a Bag Accessory Kit available which is another way to decorate the gift boxes or gift bags, or you can purchase the bags or boxes with the accessory kit as a bundle and get 15% off.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your week.
