Happenings Simply Created Card Kit To Get You Started

Would you like to make some handmade cards, but don’t know where to start, or you don’t think you have the time to make some?

The Happenings Simply Created Card Kit is perfect. It is all there ready for you to create.  Here is a card I made from the kit.

The kit is great for someone starting out, or if you already make cards, but need to make some cards in a hurry, you can make these cards quickly. You don't need to think about what colours to use, what stamps, what embellishments.  It is all there ready for you to use.  Stampin’ Up! have done the measuring and cutting for you and the kit includes the cards and envelopes along with coordinating designer paper, die cut accents and embellishments to add to your card.  The kit includes pictures of three sample cards.  Here are the sample cards which are shown in the Occasions Catalogue on page 17.

The kit includes pieces for making 15 cards:
■ 15 card bases: finished card size: 8.9cm x 12.7cm
■ 15 sheets of single-sided, printed designer paper backgrounds, 5 ea. of 3 designs
■ 15 die-cut accents, 5 ea. of 3 designs
■ 15 Silver glitter banners
■ 15 White banners
■ 15 pieces of Baker’s Twine, 10" ea.
■ 15 buttons

Coordinating colours: Baked Brown Sugar, Bermuda Bay, Pear Pizzazz, Smoky Slate, Strawberry Slush, Whisper White.

All you need is some adhesive, some greeting stamps and an ink pad.  The kit coordinates with the Says It All Stamp Set, or you can use any greetings stamps you already have.

I am putting an order in tomorrow night, so If you would like to order this set or anything else, please contact me.

Have a great week.

Simple Stems with the Fresh Prints DSP Stack

One of the great things about being part of a wider group of Stampin' Up demonstrators is we get to share ideas, support each other, and take part in swaps.  This is a great way to see lots of different ways new product can be used.  Recently I took part in a swap using products from the new Occasions catalogue.  This is what I created - all 20 of them.

These cards feature the Fresh Prints DSP stack as their background and I have used variety of different designs from the card stack.  Some are mounted onto Real Red card, and others onto Coastal Cabana.  For the main feature of the card I have used the new Scalloped Tag Topper and the Simple Stems stamp set.

Here is a closer look at some of the cards.

Do you like the Real Red or the Coastal Cabana card base?  I would love to hear which one is your favourite.

If you would you like to make a card like this, or would like to have a try using the new Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, why don't you attend one of my classes, or contact me to arrange a class or workshop with a group of your friends.

Have a great day.

Gate Fold Card and Gift Featuring Sweet Sorbet DSP

One of my customers was turning 40 so I thought I would make her a special card and a small gift.  This is what I created for her.

This is a gate fold style card using the Sweet Sorbet DSP which is one of the free gifts as part of Sale-a-bration.   I love the soft colours of this paper.  Here is a closer look at the card.

The gift box was made using the new Scalloped Tag Topper Punch which is one of the new products in the Occasions catalogue.  I am so pleased I purchased this new punch as there are so many great uses for it.  You can make tags, bookmarks and use it to finish the tops of a gift box like I have done here and I am sure many more things too which I am yet to discover.  The twine I have used is also from another Sale-a-bration product, the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack.

Supplies:
Stamp Set: Memorable Moments
Cardstock: Pool Party, Crisp Cantaloupe, Whisper White
DSP: Sweet Sorbet (SAB)
Ink: Pool Party
Other: Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, Pansy Punch, Boho Blossoms Punch, Simply Scored Tool, Big Shot, Labels Collection Framelit Dies, Pearls, Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack, Pool Party Button (SAB pack from 2013), Tombow, Glue Dots.

The Scalloped Tag Topper Punch will be one of the products we will be using at my weekend class this coming Sunday afternoon, as well as my weekday class next week on Tuesday morning.  If you would like to know more about these classes, please click here.

Contact me today if you would like your own copy of the Occasions catalogue and SAB brochure so you can see what wonderful new products are out there waiting for you.

Have a great weekend.
